A few weekends ago, we had our annual girls' trip! This time we headed out to the Blue Ridge Mountains in Georgia. We were all worried we were going to have to cancel our trip due to weather. But, Brittany assured us the roads were fine. YEAH RIGHT!! I met up with the 4 Birmingham girls and we drove up in Allison's mom's minivan! Needless to say, the minivan was not all-terrain and did NOT make it up the mountain! We had to park a mile away from the cabin and wait on the other girls in a Tahoe. We we able to drive a half mile before we had to pull over. Imagine 10 girls hiking a half mile up a steep mountain at night time, wearing heels and carrying/dragging multiple suitcases! By the time we made it to the time, a few of us were in tears! Thankfully, the beautiful cabin below was waiting for us at the top! We had the most wonderful time seeing each other and catching up! We missed you JJ!

By the time we left, the snow and ice had begun to melt. Coming down the hill was MUCH better than going up!

Yay...you updated the blog!! Your pics from the mtns turned out so much better than mine. And that sweet baby is absolutely adorable!!
